This work was sponsored in 1992 by the City of Paterson and William Paterson University (“College” at the time.)
Directed by Dr. Barbara Sandberg, the music was written and directed by Robert Henke, the play and “Share our Future” by C.A. Conforti.
This music was preserved on an analog tape. It is reproduced here for you for the first time in 20 years.
It was our gift to you… the community. If you know any of the players and participants, please contact them and let us share this with them .
A special thank you to Dr. Baines who helped mold the play and act as an advisor with Dr. Sandberg.
Thank you to all of the performers. Please contact us so we can name you here.
This work received the Heritage Citizenship Award from the Historic Preservation Commission of Paterson that year.

Guest artist
Corneille Driezen
Gorgeous “Avis Sapiens” in the Great Falls National Historical Park 5th Annual Paterson Artwalk.
We explored our park and created a new way of looking at it. On May 18, 2013, Corneille Driezen came to the Paterson, New Jersey to
share something with us. He gave us three images and invited us to exhibit them in our park. We were proud of our exhibit and grateful to all of the artists and vendors who participated in the rain:( But it was cool. We did it. Finally… we are in the park! Arts have emerged in our community!
I’m feeling very happy for us all! And Corneille Driezen?
He was generous in leaving us 60 prints of his “Wise Birds.”

This is the Call for Artists, Historians, Performance Artists, Crafters… you know who you are:)
Bring your installations into this beautiful natural and historical setting.
On May 18 we will enjoy arts and a day in a very unique location on earth.
There’s lots of stories to tell.
And we will be together in the outdoors, in our Park.
We will do what people did a long time ago for entertainment:)
explored through and alongside the arts that help bring it all out!
And please!!! Let’s plan for rain:(
If we expect rain and start from there … it can only be easier!
Monsoons of course are a no!
but let’s plan to feel this out and see how we can get into that park!
Just don’t forget that everything must be removed before we leave for the night.
But that’s not all. The Paterson Falls Film Festival is also in the walk
and all the other points of interest that we love to brag about in Paterson.
