IAM is planning a great art show.  We hope that we will enhance the quality of life in this little city each time we do something like this.  Let us know you want to be a part of the 50,000 square feet of exhibit space that has been generously shared with us. And look out for other surprises. There’s more resources than meets the eye in Paterson.

Call (973) 826-0132.  Find the space you’d like to work in and come out to the Dolphin Mills, a 19th Century Industrial Complex full of imaginary spaces!!! Start your project in one of many amazing spaces for a fascinating exhibit! Lets do what we do best with the resources that belong to all of us!!! That’s you and me!!! the community at large!

It’s the “Windows, Artscapes and Anything Better than Empty Storefronts” Show

“If you want it done right! You’ve got to do it yourself!”
That’s right! Artists have to takeover the world! And we can finally get this show on the road. If you or anyone you know, wants to sponsor a needy window, please contact us at patersonarts@gmail.com. Let’s see what we can do to get something going for our youth and the rest of the community. This is an opportunity to stir up creativity, fun and culture for everyone.

IAM hosting “The Caribbean: A Coastal Experience”

IAM interrupting this Holiday Season to bring you: Elvin Serrano

and his “The Caribbean: A Coastal Experience” Show

He offered to take us there and we in our naive wishful thinking, agreed. So when he unwrapped his latest photos, we knew we were in the presence of a true artist! Sweet landscapes captured by a Caribbean dreamer shared by the enthusiasm of a world traveler.  Elvin has seen plenty of beauty in his travels as a pilot and his talent precedes his technique and precision. In a moment, he flies us in and lands a perfect image where we are transported by his craft to the place.

Join us in celebrating his photographic debut at the Ivanhoe. Reception with live music and refreshments on December 9, 2011 6pm

You can see the exhibit at the Ivanhoe from December 9-January 9, 2011.

I look forward to seeing you there.

IAM
